GROUPS FOR SUMMER SCHOOL

If all the students who sent back a fully completed SUMMER SCHOOL consent form turn up, there will be 190 students and 20 staff attending.

That means 20 groups - with the possibility of joining groups together in all sorts of combinations as the week goes by.

Each group has a colour and each student will have a lanyard of that colour so that staff can spot them easily.

The colours are as follows - BLACK, BLUE, GREEN, MAGENTA, NAVY, ORANGE, PURPLE, RED, WHITE and YELLOW.

It would be really helpful if each student were able to remember their colour for when they come on their first day - it would hugely speed up the process of initial registration

NINESTILES SUMMER SCHOOL 2014

THE PLAN FOR THE WEEK

on each day - please watch the weather forecast and advise your child to dress accordingly

on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we will be outdoors for most of the time - a bottle of water, a hat and sunscreen would seem sensible if it looks like sunshine - a rainproof coat would be sensible if it looks like rain - because of the type of activities that we will be doing, trainers would seem a much better choice than shoes or sandals.

food and a drink will be provided on each day, although there are food and snack outlets at each of the venues on our trip days, so you may wish to allow your child a bit of spending money
